3. Blanking or Cutting: The raw material is cut or blanked to the approximate size and shape of the die.

4. Rough Machining: The blank is roughly machined to the approximate shape of the die.

5. Heat Treatment: The rough machined die is heat-treated to achieve the desired hardness and other mechanical properties.

6. Precision Machining: The die is then precisely machined to its final dimensions and surface finish.

7. Assembly: If the die is a complex assembly, individual components are assembled together.

8. Surface Treatment: Surface treatments such as Coating or Nitriding may be applied to improve wear resistance.

9. Final Inspection: The finished die undergoes a thorough inspection to ensure it meets all specifications.

10. Testing and Quality Control: The die may undergo testing to ensure it performs as expected, and quality control measures are taken to maintain consistency and quality.

This process ensures that the dies produced are of high quality and can produce parts to the required specifications.
